Mike Higgs wrote and drew many comicstrip series for different British magazines, including The Cloak for Pow! and Smash! and Pow!, Space School for Whizzer and Chips and Thundercap for Buster. Moonbird was Mike Higgs' first newspaper comic strip for Associated Newspaper which was written and drawn in the seventies and eighties, later followed by Baz and Co. that ran in the Daily Mirror.
Moonbird Sories was a series of Children books for an American publisher, written and drawn by Mike Higgs. He also did the illustrations for Learn with Moonbird, written by Sally McNulty for another American publisher.
